"Mommy, I love this blanket. It's like an old friend."
She's right; it's been with her almost from the start. I dug up these little 5 week old Vivian pictures to show 5 year old Vivian the 'old friend' blanket and her matching wing onesie - a very special gift from my friend Greta.
I know the ache that was weighing on my heart and soul the day these Baby Viv pictures were taken, and it lightens that load a bit to see five year old Viv with that blanket now.
