were happy to be out of the car after the drive down!
went to the zoo with friends from la!
went to the top of the courthouse!

sat on the front porch!
took lots of rides on daddy's shoulders!
went to butterfly beach to dig in the sand, listen to waves and see dolphins splashing!
rode a pretend dolphin!
sat outside in the sun!
spent mornings in our jammies!
hugged dear, dear friends in CHARGE for the first time ever after knowing them for nearly 4 years!
(So, so special to finally meet Catherine, Reuben and Callum in person. Catherine's blog was one of the first I stumbled upon in the early days of Viv's diagnosis. Sweet Reu has always inspired us.)
had lots of snuggles in the carrier!
flew airplanes on the courthouse lawn!
and ate lots of yummy food, but that goes without saying, right?
And now, are happy to be home, sweet home!

wow! a road trip with a three month old! amazing! i imagine you must have loved the time together but been so exhausted at the end of the days!
santa barbara was on my summer to do list for me! love it there
