Last weekend we drove out to the coast to visit my favorite pumpkin farm - Farmer John's. It was a perfectly sunny and gorgeous day in Half Moon Bay.
Viv walked and climbed and delighted in everything:
the tepee (her favorite by far),
climbing hay bales,
driving the tractor,
and oh, yes, the pumpkins, too.
We could hardly get her to look at the camera - she was so delighted in the other kids roaming the farm. She'd say to us: "I want to go see him/her!" Then she'd walk over to the kid, say "Hi, what's your name? My name is Vivian" and usually offer him or her a pumpkin. Where did this social butterfly come from?
Trip down memory lane: Farmer John's two years ago. No pie this year, boo.

Yay! You know this made my day seeing Viv's sweet face! And... a picture of you, too! :-) Double yay! Despite the lack of pie, looks like Farmer John's didn't disappoint.

Really, truly, you can't be surprised about your social butterfly! After spending five minutes with her last year, long before she became "Chatty Cathy," it was clear that this was her destiny! :-)
