This is the changing table. We spend a lot of time here, namely because she LOVES being on her back looking up and around. Most of her big smiles happen here:

Photos from the Huntington Library in April, ultrasound picture, NICU name plate, our first family photo (that's her favorite), a penny in a bag--it's from my Grandma Vivian's purse & I wore it in my shoe on our wedding day, the sparkly "V" from our wedding (there's an "H" and an "M" in storage somewhere).
Vivi's crib (see her smiling in it? It's a novel place to be since she doesn't sleep there) with 2 paintings that my Grandma Vivian made in 5th grade (circa 1928). My aunt framed them as a gift for me. They are, by far, my most precious family heirloom. I treasure them. At the foot of Vivi's crib is a quilt my aunt made--it has the front of our wedding invitation printed on fabric, which featured e.e. cummings' poem "sweet spring is your / time is my time is our / time for springtime is lovetime / and viva sweet love" .
Squirrel watching, music listening, reading books corner. My dad painted the side table for me (her room was originally going to be that color--Oregano--but I got freaked out when I finished painting one wall and switched to Dill Pickle), the glider was a surprise gift from my parents, the little red chair is from one of my students who came to visit in September, and the basket of books contains two favorites: Olivia (a gift from a student who came to visit last month) and Goodnight Moon.
Vivian loves Olivia. She especially loves the page where Olivia is trying on all sorts of different clothes.
And here's some proof that she's happy on the changing table...pardon my saccharine mama voice:

We just read your latest post touring Vivian's room and love it AND sweet little Vivi!
Such a pretty, typically Henry, deep voice. She looks so happy and healthy! You guys apparently like her a little bit too.

Love the room! And the video is soooo cute- she is such the girl chatting away with you! Such a happy little chatter! I also love the picture of Vivian reading with you! (Hannah, is that a new hair cut?) How neat to catch it on video and to share with us!
