Summer Solstice
Yesterday was so very hot. We didn't leave the house or even venture outside for fear we would melt on the first day of summer! But we made up for it today with an afternoon slip 'n' slide adventure with friends. Viv surprised me by totally loving the slip 'n' slide action - no complaints about the cold water or falling on the slippery mat. So I'm counting that as our celebration of summer being officially here (a day late)!

I hadn't thought of slip 'n slide... so thanks to you guys, I will be adding that to our list for this summer!
