Prescription for a Case of the Icks*

Wake up to blue skies.
Stroll around the local farmers' market with a dear friend and her little one.
Buy apricots, cherries (2 kinds: Ranier and a special hybrid that only this farm produces - the epitome of a cherry, people!) and avocados.

On the drive home, spot a Jacaranda tree and turn off to take a photo of it (Jacarandas bring happy memories of Grandma Vivian; she taught you what they were).

At home, feed little Vivian (who eats like a champ in record time).
Feed yourself a salad (with cottage cheese, tomatoes, carrots, cilantro dressing and hot sauce). Eat it in the shade of your favorite backyard tree with your favorite little person.
Read a few books.
Put little Viv down for afternoon nap.
Blog a bit.
Listen to a mix of your favorites on Pandora.
Wait for Baby to wake up.
Let the joy continue.

*Icks being a word I like to say these days. It refers to any number of unpleasant things, ranging from TOTALLY unpleasant to mildly annoying. Ick. Icky.
