My wonderful sister Sarah married a wonderful man named Renato in January. They are a really amazing couple--really in love, really friendly, really sweet. Renato has quickly become a very special part of our family. I have seen Sarah transform into an incredibly centered, grounded and confident woman under the effects of Renato's love. It's a beautiful thing. Vivian knows them as Auntie Sarah and Tío Tato. They love to hold Vivian when they visit from Petaluma.
Auntie Sarah will teach Vivian about power bargain shopping, black licorice, good frozen yogurt and Buddhism. She and I will take Vivian to Sebastopol to pick apples in orchards and then warm up the kitchen making apple yummies. Sarah will inspire Vivian to love big and enjoy nature. Tío Tato will teach Vivian Spanish, since he's Peruvian. He will tell her tales of growing up in Lima and travel adventures around the world. He will show by example how to be gentle and kind.
Vivian, you're so blessed to be loved by Sarah & Renato.

Such sweet words, it made me misty eyed. love is amazing isn't it? Afterall, Love is what brought Vivian here to us, and love (and faith) wll provide her with a long and joyful life!
