Have you seen Vivian Maier's street photography?  Be warned: going through the archives is addictive.  Her story is a little sad and lonely and mysterious (read about her and how her photographs were discovered here and here).  I think her photographs and how she saw the world are utterly beautiful.

They make me think about how grateful I am that I can capture little moments in my very ordinary life so easily.  I justify my long-standing addiction to instagram because it just makes everything so pretty, and because when I scroll through the pictures I take on my phone, I like the story they tell, even the not so pretty and not so easy parts of my life.
